Description

The Kingscott Monument is a chest tomb located about 10 meters west of the west door in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints. It commemorates John Kingscott, who died in 1782. The tomb is made of limestone and features a slightly tent-shaped top, moulded capping, and a plain plinth. It has panelled corner piers with a rosette in the frieze. On the south side, there are two large low relief cartouche panels that include inscriptions and a cherub head between them, while the remaining sides are plain.
