Description

This is a detached house dating from the mid-to-late 17th century, originally listed under different names. It is constructed of random rubble limestone with ashlar chimneys and a stone slate roof, with artificial stone slates to the front. The house is two storeys with an attic, and includes a lower, two-storey section to the southwest. The front of the house has a two-window arrangement, with most windows being two-light, recessed, chamfered mullioned casements under hoodmoulds. A reset 13th-century two-light trefoil-headed lancet window illuminates the staircase. The central doorway has a four-panel door and a Regency porch with a tent hood and decorative timberwork. The lower section of the house features a timber casement and doorway with a timber lintel, and a single-light casement above. Gable end chimneys have chamfered caps. The rear of the house mirrors the front's fenestration, with a central doorway that has been altered to a small casement. A tall, gabled attic dormer with a two-light casement is present in the center of the rear roof. A lean-to extends from the northeast end. The interior has not been inspected.
