Description
The gazebo, gate piers, and garden wall located approximately 20 meters east of Overcourt date from the mid-18th century and incorporate earlier gate piers. The gazebo is constructed of ashlar and features a coursed and dressed limestone wall with monolithic gate piers. It is a square, two-storey structure at the southern end of the wall, characterized by coved eaves and a hipped roof topped with a weathervane finial. The east and south faces of the gazebo have a single round-arched sash window with moulded architraves, imposts, and a keystone above a cornice. A flight of stone steps leads to a doorway on the north side, which has a glazed door and fanlight. There is also a low-level door on the west side with a timber lintel and a plank door. The square gate piers are topped with hollow moulded caps and feature 20th-century timber gates. The wall has round-topped coping and sweeps up at the gate piers, serving to divide the garden of Overcourt from the churchyard to the east.
