Description
Wisma Mulia is a detached house, which was being used as an old people's home at the time of the survey in January 1986. It dates from the early 19th century and features a rendered exterior on a plinth, with a hipped slate roof that has a front moulded cornice and a blocking course that sweeps down on the returns. The house has rendered brick stacks and is nearly square in shape, standing two storeys tall.
The front façade includes three windows, which are 12-pane sashes with moulded architraves. The ground floor windows have plate glass, and there is a central projecting unfluted Roman Doric porch that features an entablature, blocking course, and pilasters at the rear. The entrance has a half-glazed three-panel door with a transom light, accessed by two moulded stone steps. A plat band runs between the floors at the front, and the returns have three bays with some original sashes still present.
