Description

The Pool family monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 7 metres north of the nave of the Church of St John the Baptist. It dates from 1807 and is made of sandstone. The tomb is square in shape and features corner balusters. Above, there are oval panels with a fluted frieze. The top is moulded and has a gadrooned finial, while the base includes a moulded plinth. The monument is inscribed to Joice Pool, who died in 1807.
