Description

PAINSWICK SO 81 SE 2/9 Stables to west of Olivers GV II Stable block. Dated 1801. Good squared and coursed limestone, stone slate roof. Two storey gabled block with two lower single storey extensions to right. Main building has three 2-light hollow chamfer mullioned casements with stopped hoods, and two plank doors, that to right part glazed; at first floor are two paired loft doors set to left and right of the doors below. Gable stack, left. To right is lower section with pair of wide plank doors, and a 4-bay open shelter shed. Set at an angle to Olivers (qv) and forming part of a country house group.
