Description
The dovecote to the north-east of Olivers is a pigeon house and attached outbuilding, dating from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of good squared and coursed limestone with stone slate roofs. The building is low and set across the slope of the ground, with the more prominent pigeon house located at the lower level. This pigeon house features a hexagonal timber columbarium at the ridge and has a plain door opening positioned low on the right side. To the further right, there is an attached open-fronted shed that steps down the slope. The upper end of the shed includes a garage door in the gable. This dovecote is part of a group of buildings associated with the country house Olivers.
