Description

Rose Cottage is a 18th century building located on the east side of Butter Row Hill. It is constructed of hammer-dressed rubble and features a pitched stone roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has an ashlar chimney. It includes one range of casements with glazing bars. Rose Cottage is part of a group of listed buildings on the east side of Butter Row Hill, which also includes Vale Cottage and Roe I and II, known as The Laurels.
