Description

Eyrie Cottage is a 17th-century house located on Bowbridge Lane. It is constructed of hammerdressed stone and has a pitched pantile roof. The house is two storeys high with attics. Modern casements have been installed in the original window openings, which are surrounded by plain architraves. A single attic dormer also features modern casements. A mullioned window has been blocked with bricks in the north gable end. Eyrie Cottage contributes to the group value of properties numbered 81 to 97 (odd) together with Bowbridge House on London Road.
