Description

Bowbridge House, located on London Road, is an early 19th-century building constructed of ashlar. It stands three storeys tall and features three double-hung sash windows, with the ground and first-floor windows being three-light, the central one designed in a Venetian style. The house has a central portico supported by two Tuscan columns and topped with a pediment. It is finished with a crowning cornice and a blocking course. Inside, there are several good contemporary fireplaces. Bowbridge House is part of a group with Nos 81 to 27 (odd) Bowbridge Lane.
