Description

The Gun House is a 17th-century building located on Gunhouse Lane. It features a rendered exterior and a stone roof, standing three stories tall. On the ground floor, there is an early 19th-century double-hung sash window with moulded surrounds. The first and second floors have mullioned casements with hoodmoulds. The southwest wing is constructed of hammer-dressed rubble and also has paired mullioned windows under hoodmoulds. To the northeast, there is a 19th-century ashlar extension that includes a porch, paired ashlar chimney stacks, and additional mullioned windows. All the listed buildings on Gunhouse Lane are part of a group.
