Description
Frocester Lodge is a detached house dating to around 1800. It is constructed of rendered red brick with brick chimneys and a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic and lower rear wings. The front elevation has a four-window arrangement. The windows have plain keyed stone surrounds, with timber mullioned and transomed casements on the ground floor and four-pane sash windows above. A central doorway is sheltered by a Tuscan porch, now with a 20th-century glazed door and a rectangular window above. Three chimneys are visible on the ridge of the roof, with a projecting stack at the north end. Smaller casements are present in the gable ends. A lean-to addition extends from part of the rear. The interior has not been inspected. To the west are two pairs of gatepiers and a boundary wall, which are separately listed.
