Description

The railway underpass bridge, built around 1844 for the Bristol and Gloucester Railway, is made of punched limestone, with the top of the parapet rebuilt in brick. It features a round-headed arch with a plain band above and splayed retaining walls. This bridge is notable for being one of the original structures in a relatively intact state.
