Description

Rowleys is a late 18th-century detached house that was formerly two houses. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone with ashlar chimneys and features a stone slate roof. The building is three stories tall and has a front with three windows. The ground and middle floors have segmental arched openings, each fitted with iron casements that have round arched lights, while the upper floor has square-headed casements. To the right, there is a 20th-century gabled porch addition, which includes a reset two-light lancet window on its front face. The house has three ridge-mounted chimneys with chamfered caps, and there is a 20th-century lean-to addition at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
