Description
The Old Rectory is a house located on the south side of Tetbury Street in Minchinhampton. It dates from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid to late 18th century. The building is constructed of random rubble limestone, with some areas rendered, and features a brick chimney and a stone slate roof.
It is two stories tall. The oldest section is on the left, made of very thin-bedded rubble, and has one window on each floor. The ground floor has a three-light ovolo mullioned casement window, while the upper floor has a three-light chamfered mullioned casement window, both of which are leaded. The section on the right projects forward and has a small-pane fixed light and a doorway with a six-panel fielded door, both featuring segmental keyed arches. The upper floor of this section has a timber casement window. Additionally, the side wall has a leaded fixed light on the upper floor. The interior has not been inspected.
