Description

This is an 18th-century cart shed located approximately 50 meters southwest of the Lamb Inn. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone and rendered brick, topped with a roof made of stone slate and pantiles. The cart shed features four bays and faces northeast, with an outbuilding at the southeast end. There are two circular stone columns supporting the cart shed, with one made of concrete blockwork. The gable of the altered outbuilding is covered with vertical weatherboarding and has a coped rear gable. It is noted that this structure was used as a Baptist meeting place before the Eastcombe Baptist Church was built.
