Description
Honeyhill is a detached house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone with ashlar chimneys and has a Welsh slate roof. The house is two stories high with an attic and a cellar. There is a 20th-century rear addition that is not of special interest.
The south front originally featured two windows with three-light chamfered mullioned casements, but one ground floor and one upper floor casement have been reduced to two-light, likely due to alterations when the house was divided into two residences. The windows still have their original leaded iron casements. The off-centre doorway has a chamfered opening and a plank door, sheltered by a lean-to porch. There are gable end chimneys with plain caps and a single-light attic casement on each gable end.
Inside, there is a stone fireplace with a simple moulded surround and a spiral staircase at one end, along with many other original fittings.
