Description
Hendy is a house located at the end of a row, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone with an ashlar chimney and has a concrete replacement tile roof. The building is two stories tall and has an L-shaped plan.
On the north side, there are two windows featuring 12-pane sash fenestration with dressed surrounds. There is a 20th-century porch addition to the right, at the angle with the row. The east front has a gable end with an off-centre upper floor 12-pane sash window and a gable-mounted ashlar chimney with a moulded cap.
The south side shows part of the left section with lower eaves, which may be older than the main block to the right, and has scattered 12-pane sash windows. A return wing projects to the south, featuring an east-facing gable with a ground floor casement window and an upper floor sash window. The interior has not been inspected, and the remainder of the row is not of special interest.
