Description

The main block at Stafford Mills, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched slate roof. It stands three storeys high and has four ranges of bipartite windows with glazing bars on both the north and south elevations, with a mix of casement and double-hung sash windows. The ground floor openings have been modernized. To the east, there is a two-storey extension with a lean-to slate roof, which includes one bipartite double-hung sash window with glazing bars on the north and south elevations. The buildings at Stafford Mills are part of a group.
