Description
Reform Lodge is a lodge house dated 1798, featuring rendered walls, ashlared construction, and rusticated quoins, with a concealed lead roof. This small square Gothic-style lodge has battlements and semi-circular gables, along with a large new block added at the back. The building is two storeys high, with two windows and a central doorway or panel on each of its three faces. The windows are ogee-headed, made with wood sashes and Y-tracery, and there are plat bands and impost blocks. Below the gable on the south side is a blind oculus that contains a worn date panel reading -98. The west and east fronts have three blind window openings, which are sometimes attributed to James Wyatt, who designed the south front of the main house.
