Description

No 2, The Green is a 17th-century house located at the center of a group of three. It is constructed of square coursed rubble and features a slate roof. Originally built as a detached house, it now has a non-special interest extension on the right and a lodge (No 3) to the left. The building stands two-and-a-half storeys tall and has three windows. The windows include two-light ovolo mould casements above two-light cross mullioned windows, both featuring early leadworks. The central entrance has 20th-century glassed doors set in a flush surround with a plain lintel and a flush keystone. On the left gable, there is a two-light ovolo-mould casement that is half leaded. The house has a deep first-floor string and a moulded string above the first-floor windows, along with gable stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
