Description

No 3, The Green is a lodge attached to No 2, dated FAH, 1881. It is constructed from limestone ashlar with a slate roof and has an L-plan layout, featuring a plain gable at the back behind No 2. The front of the building is set back and includes a chamfered mullion casement window and a 20th-century door located in a lean-to porch, which has a deep-set arched window on its side. On the left side of the gable return, there is a central oriel window supported by stone brackets and topped with a stone roof, all situated beneath the date stone. The lodge also features large external stacks with diagonally set upper shafts at the eaves at the back. The gable is coped and has kneelers. This building is included mainly for its group value.
