Description

Cotswold Cottage is a detached house located on Gloucester Street in Painswick, dating from the early 19th century. It features a front made of limestone ashlar, with dressed stone on the sides and a stone slate roof. The gable stacks have been rebuilt. The building stands three storeys tall and has two windows on the upper floors, which are two-light iron casements with bars. There is a third similar window on the ground floor, likely replacing the original door. The current door is a six-panel fielded design located in an extension to the left, with a second door on the right return. A sill band runs along the first floor. This is a lofty building with a narrow frontage.
