Description

The Old Ship is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brick on a stone plinth, topped with a double Roman tile roof and features slightly protruding brick end stacks at both ends. The rear wall is made of rubble stone. The building is a single range with two storeys and has three windows on the upper floor, which are 12-pane sashes with segmental heads and curved brick voussoirs. The eaves fascia cuts into the first-floor windows. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows flanking a central door that has six recessed panels and a cambered wooden hood supported by brackets.
