Description

Romaver is a house located at the end of a terrace on Salter Street in Berkeley, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a double Roman tile roof with brick end stacks. The building is a single range with a rear wing and stands two storeys tall. It has three windows, which are 19th-century decorative margin sashes, each with splayed brick voussoirs and moulded wood architraves. On the ground floor, there is a similar window to the left and a bow window to the right that has a dentil cornice. The central entrance features a six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed and the rest fielded, topped by a cambered wooden hood supported by brackets.
