Description

Nos 21 and 23 Salter Street are a pair of houses, likely originally built as one, situated in a terrace. They date from the mid to late 18th century and are constructed of brick with a double Roman tile roof. The houses feature brick alternating quoins and brick end stacks with oversailing courses. They are a single range, two storeys high, and have three windows that are 19th-century decorative margin sashes, complete with splayed brick voussoirs and enlarged keystones. The central entrance consists of a pair of 20th-century doors that are accessed by two steps, and this is topped by a single wide open pediment supported on consoles.
