Description

No 9 Salter Street is a large house in a terrace, dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of brick on a rubble plinth and features two brick string courses. The roof is covered with double Roman tiles, and there is a brick stack on the right side. The house has a single front range with a rear extension and stands three storeys tall. The front facade includes three windows with 12-pane sashes, which are adorned with splayed brick voussoirs and moulded wood architraves. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows, and to the left, there are double doors made up of six fielded panels that lead to a passageway.
