Description

The Gillard memorial is a sarcophagus tomb located approximately 4 meters west of the north-west corner of the tower of the Parish Church of St Bartholomew. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a low concave ridged top and a moulded base, along with simple embellished inscription panels. While the inscription for Gillard is not fully legible, the date 1830 can be found on the east end.
