Description
Ridge Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse featuring a rendered exterior with rubble gables and stone slate roofing. The building has a tripartite layout, with a raised central section that includes a gablet resembling a pediment. The central unit is flanked by two lateral rubble stone stacks topped with stone cappings. The farmhouse is two storeys tall, with the central section rising to three storeys. The main facade has three windows, but additional light and a door have been added to the ground floor on either side of the center. All the windows on the main facade are new aluminium two-light windows, which have replaced the original two-light oak mullioned windows that featured diagonal leaded panes. The entrance has a patterned and studded door from the 19th century.
