Description

Upper Westbrook is an early 19th-century farmhouse that has undergone alterations around 1980. The building is rendered, likely over rubble, and features a slate roof with gable-end stacks. It stands three storeys high and has three windows: the second floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 16-pane sashes. On the ground floor, there are two tripartite sashes flanking the entrance, which is sheltered by a canopy with a raked corrugated iron roof supported by plain wooden posts. The entrance includes a half-glazed door and a marginally glazed overlight. Traces of a former verandah roof can still be seen across the entire facade in the render.
