Description

This privy, located approximately 30 meters west of Stokenhill Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building is rectangular with gable ends on the east and west sides. The east end includes a doorway that has a heavy frame, a timber lintel, and a wide plank door fitted with early strap hinges. Inside, there is a board floor and the fittings are complete.
