Description

Bank House is a house located at the end of a row on the corner of Hollyhock Lane, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-windowed façade. There is a plinth and a plain string course at the first floor level. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century door beneath a transom light, alongside a three-light late 19th-century sash window with haunched lintels. The first floor contains two 12-pane sash windows. A two-light hipped casement dormer is present in the attic. The house is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
