Description

The gate piers and walls to Cotswold House, dating from the early 19th century, consist of a pair of gate piers with flanking walls. They are made of limestone coursed block with coping, sweeping up to the gable of Cotswold House on the left and continuing to the wall of the adjacent property on the right, where the upper courses are in concrete block. The gate piers measure about 700 mm square and have flat cappings. This wall is significant for maintaining the continuity of the street.
