Description
This is a small house situated within a terrace. It dates to the late 17th or early 18th century. The exterior is roughcast on a plinth, with a concrete tile roof and no visible chimney stacks. The building is a single range with two storeys and attic skylights. There are three windows, each with 12 panes over 9 panes, set within moulded architraves. The ground floor features a six-panel door to the right, which belongs to number 10, with the top two panels glazed and the rest flush, beneath a large flat wooden hood. To the left is a door to the shop at number 12, which has two glazed and two flush panels. A 19th-century canted shop window sits in the centre of the ground floor, featuring a dentil cornice. The building is included on the heritage register primarily due to its group value alongside number 14 High Street.
