Description

Milestone, probably 18th century. This is a single rounded stone slab that slightly tapers and rises to approximately 1.5 meters above road level, with its base set into the bank. At the time of the survey in November 1985, it was partially overgrown. This milestone is one of a series located along the road from Frampton on Severn to Arlingham Passage. There is no inscription or visible fixing for a plate.
