Description

The Pool family monument is a pedestal tomb located approximately 4 metres north of the nave of the Church of St John the Baptist in Pitchcombe. Dated 1786, it is made of sandstone and features a rectangular shape with raised oval inscription panels. The monument has a hollow moulded top and a moulded plinth, and it is inscribed to Joyse Pool, who died in 1786.
