Description
Old Mill House is a detached dwelling built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed limestone and features a wide-span Welsh slate roof with stone gable stacks. The main facade faces away from the road, looking towards Rockstowes Mill. The building is two storeys high and has three windows on the front, which are sashes with glazing bars set in plot-band surrounds that include small keystones. The central entrance is a six-panel door topped with a radial fanlight, also in a plot-band surround. On the street elevation, there are sashes with bars, including a long round-headed central window for the staircase, and a modern door located off-centre to the left. The gable return has two windows. This house was likely the residence of one of the Mill Masters.
