Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located approximately 10 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel of the Parish Church of St Bartholomew. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a heavy moulded top and a cavetto base, with lyre ends and rectangular inscription panels that have quadrant corners, although the inscriptions are not legible. At the time of the survey, the tomb was worn but still upright, representing a good example of Cotswold baroque tomb design.
