Description

The John Andrews memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 5 meters south of the east bay of the nave at the Parish Church of St Bartholomew. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb has an over-square shape and features a moulded top with a deep cavetto and a cavetto base. It includes square inscription panels, one of which has the name JOHN ANDREWS and the date 1733. At the time of the survey, the top of the memorial was displaced, one panel was broken, and the entire structure was overgrown.
