Description

This is a house, built around 1820, located on the west side of Regent Street. It forms the end of a row of properties. The house is constructed of brick, finished with a smooth render designed to resemble ashlar stone. It has chimneys of rendered brick and a roof of Welsh slate. The front of the house has a symmetrical three-window arrangement, with simple sash windows lacking glazing bars. The central doorway is round-arched, featuring a six-panel fielded door and a decorative fanlight, sheltered by a flat porch hood supported by Regency ironwork. Iron balconies are present on the upper-floor windows. The roofline is finished with a plain parapet and includes gable-end chimneys. A flat-roofed addition to the rear of the house contains 19th-century windows with four panes per sash. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
