Description
Queen Anne Cottage is a detached house that dates from the late 16th century, with an addition from the 18th century. The building features a timber frame with brick facing and smooth render, along with rendered chimneys and a thatched roof, while the addition has a plain tile roof. It is two storeys high, with a single storey and attic addition at the north end.
The west front has two full gables with an eaves dormer situated between them. There are leaded casements aligned with each gable, and a central six-panel door with a 20th-century porch hood. The left gable jetties above the brick facing of the ground floor, and some timber framing is exposed to the right of the doorway. The 18th-century addition is pebbledashed and features a single ground floor casement, with a gabled eaves-mounted attic dormer above. Gable end chimneys are present as well.
At the rear, there is a central full gable with a thatched dormer to the left, and a gabled eaves-mounted attic dormer in the addition to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
