Description
Barclays Bank is a former house, now serving as a bank, built around 1830. It is constructed from ashlar limestone with rebuilt artificial stone chimneys and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is two stories tall with an attic. The front has a three-window arrangement, with 16-pane sash windows in plain openings on the upper floor. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays flanking a doorway that is adorned with fluted timber pilasters and an entablature, leading to a six-panel fielded door. A parapet gable is present at the south end, and there are ridge-mounted chimneys. This building is noted as the least altered in a row of Regency houses.
