Description

Holmleigh is a house dating to around 1840, attached to number 80 on the High Street in Stonehouse. It is constructed of Flemish bond red brick with brick chimneys and a Welsh slate roof. The house is three storeys high. The front elevation has a three-window arrangement. It features 16-pane sash windows to the ground and middle floors, and an 8-pane sash window to the upper floor, all with gauged brick arches. A central round-arched doorway contains a four-panel door and a plain fanlight. The building has a plain brick parapet with stone coping, and brick gable end chimneys. A flat-roofed, two-storey rear addition is present. The interior remains uninspected.
