Description

Tamarís Cottage is a small, detached cottage likely dating from the 16th century, with a 20th-century extension to the rear that is not of special interest. The left-hand gable displays timber framing with square panels and plastered infill, while the right-hand end is brick. The roof is double Roman tile and hipped at the left end, with a brick end stack on the right. The cottage has 20th-century glazing set into the frames, and a small, 20th-century raking porch to the front. It may have originally been a small hall house. The interior is not accessible but is likely to be of interest.
