Description

The Howell monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard approximately southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Margaret. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb is rectangular in shape with lyre ends and features elaborately carved side panels. It has a cyma moulded top and a cavetto base. The north side is inscribed in memory of David Howell, although the date is illegible.
