Description
This stable block, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 10 meters south-west of Piers Court. The lower parts are constructed of rubble, while the upper sections are made of brick, featuring three Flemish stepped gables topped with ball finials. The roof is made of stone slate. The building has a T-plan layout, with the internal angles filled by a lower parallel range that has similar gables. It is 1½ storeys high, with lunettes set in brick arches on the east side. The gables include small ogee-headed lights, with brick and tile filling in the openings, and there are modern garage doors at the north end.
