Description

The Underwood memorial is a long pedestal tomb located approximately 7 meters northwest of the northwest corner of the tower of the Parish Church of St Bartholomew. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a moulded top and base resting on a plinth that was formerly railed. It includes fluted friezes and has elliptical panels on the north and south sides, with a shield on the east side. The inscription reads "UNDERWOOD, 1766."
