Description
Manor Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on Standish Lane. The building is constructed of brick on a stone plinth, featuring alternating flush stone quoins and a cogged brick dentil course with a stepped two-brick string below. It has a slate roof and brick end stacks that were likely raised or rebuilt in the late 19th century. The farmhouse is designed in a double range, with two storeys and an attic, and includes small single-storey flanking wings at the front that share similar detailing.
The facade has three windows, arranged as 3/2/3-light with cambered heads, made of wood with mullions and transoms, complemented by red brick voussoirs and a slightly projecting stone keystone. The central door also has a cambered head and consists of six flush panels, with the top two being glazed. It is topped with a cambered wooden hood and accessed by three graded tooled stone steps.
