Description
Three unidentified monuments are located in a line immediately east of the north porch in the churchyard of the Church of St. Stephen. These are three chest tombs, with the two end tombs likely dating from the early 18th century, while the center tomb is dated 1676 on its east end. They are made of limestone and feature flat tops, although they were partially overgrown at the time of the survey in January 1986. From north to south, the first tomb has splayed capping with no visible plinth, plain sides, and lyre ends with high relief ends and returns. The second tomb has a plain splayed plinth and capping, with slab sides and ends. The third tomb is similar to the first but includes an ovolo moulded plinth and capping.
