Description

Milestone located on the north side of Cirencester Road in Minchinhampton, dating from the early 19th century. It features an iron plate with raised Roman lettering, a border, and an arched top, which is mounted on a rectangular post with a rounded top. The inscription on the plate reads: 'STROUD / 6 / HAMPTON / 2 / CIREN / 8'.
